Our team completed a sensitive programme of works at The Friary, a beautiful listed building in West Sussex.

The project included decoration works, flint repairs, and sustainable resin repairs, all delivered with the care and attention required in a historic setting. Every stage was approached with consideration for the age, fabric, and character of the property, ensuring the finished result remained respectful and in keeping with the building’s existing charm.

The flint repairs helped preserve the building’s external detailing, while the resin repair method, supported by English Heritage as a considered conservation approach, allowed original materials to be retained wherever possible.

Now complete, The Friary has been carefully refreshed while protecting the history, character, and setting that make it so unique.
